Stimulasi perkembangan bahasa tulis anak harus disesuaikan dengan usia perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model-model pengembangan bahasa tulis pada anak di TK Pertiwi Krakitan IV Kecamatan Bayat Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman dengan komponen-komponennya, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kesahihan data ditentukan dengan cara triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di TK Pertiwi Krakitan IV Kecamatan Bayat Kabupaten Klaten, bahwa model perkembangan Bahasa tulis yang diterapkan pada anak adalah model perkembangan Bahasa tulis (Brewer, 2014) meliputi Scribbling Stage atau model tulisan coretan; Linear Repetitive Stage atau model tulisan pengulangan linear; Random-Letter Stage atau model tulisan huruf acak; Letter-Name or Phonetic, Writing atau fonetis tulisan; Transitional Spelling atau ejaan transisi; dan Conventional Spelling atau ejaan konvensional.
