Abstract


Melalui kemandirian, anak lebih leluasa mengembangkan dirinya terutama terkait komunikasi dan pengendalian dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan project-based learning untuk menstimulasi kemandirian anak beserta dampaknya di Kelompok Bermain Khodijah Temanggung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi pada siswa, kepala sekolah, dan lima orang tua siswa. Teknik keabsahan data adalah triangulasi sumber dan teknik yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Kegiatan pembelajaran project-based learning berupa bermain, berdiskusi, dan pengerjaan proyek dengan proses yang dikenal dengan Pijakan berupa Lingkungan Main, Sebelum Main, Saat Main, dan Setelah Main. Kegiatan tersebut berpusat pada siswa melalui dorongan untuk dengan optimalisasi peran pendidik melalui penggunaan pertanyaan inkuiri, pemaksimalan peraturan dan program lembaga, serta pembiasaan siswa bercerita dengan kolaborasi orang tua. Dampak pembelajaran adalah mampu mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah sederhana, memiliki kepekaan sosial, memiliki tanggung jawab, mulai percaya diri, mampu meluapkan emosi secukupnya, dan lebih terampil berkomunikasi. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan terutama yang berhubungan dengan tingkat keefektivitasannya pada kemandirian siswa.
